Our Story
I have Always been a creative and visual-person.
Nature has always been my Biggest inspiration,Handcrafting these Matchboxes has allowed me to use Creative Processes and Freedom to experiment with Different Materials.
I was Born in Southern Africa, raised in Portugal and the Uk them spend some years in several parts of America,I felt that I could transport my life inspiration from the places that I live to my Creative Designs.
I always admire the “No Waste” mentality that I had observed while living in Africa and taking a small piece of wood to create items was a simple but useful concept use by many Local Villagers of Southern Africa.
From Variety of Textures in Trees to Rainbows of Colours In Nature I can find an abundance of inspiration for my Matchboxes.
What we are about.
My biggest hope is that my customers found joy when they purchase my Match boxes.
And that there are not only visually pleasing but also Functional .
I hope that customers feel the same way as I do when I’m creating them.
I love to purchase items that Are beautiful and unique but most important practical therefore my my philosophy is if it is Good why not share with others!
I’m always passion about handcrafted items with good details and simplicity.
So each box that I design is made with that in mind.
I take a lot of pride In constructing them and seem the final results.
